Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the online social network participation elements of Chiang Rai private school parents. 2) to analyze the confirmatory factor of the online social network participation elements of Chiang Rai private school parents. The 385 samples were Chiang Rai private school parents by quota sampling. The research instrument was an unstructured online questionnaire. The results of the questionnaire examination from 3 experts and the reliability of evaluation forms were analyzed by Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, the reliability value is 0.85. The statistics used in data analysis were Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) which as following criteria: (1) The relative chi-square value, (2) Comparative Fit index (CFI), (3) Standardized Root Mean Square Residual (SRMR) Root Mean Square Error of Approximate (RMSEA). The Research results were, 1) The elements relationship study results of the online social network participation elements of Chiang Rai private school parents found that all four elements had a statistically significant positive correlation at .01. The most correlated elements were Social Elements (F2) and Psychological Elements (F3) which the correlation coefficient was .783 and the least correlated elements was the Functional Elements (F1) and the Psychological Elements (F3) which the correlation coefficient was .579. 2) The results of the corroborative elements analysis revealed that the variables' weights of the four elements were statistically significant at the .01 level. It shows that the online social network participation elements of Chiang Rai private school parents are structurally correct. And then analyzed the confirmatory elements, it was found that Chi-square = 594.669, Degrees of Freedom= 467 Chi-square/Degrees of Freedom = 1.273, RMSEA = 0.052, CFI = 0.993, SRMR = 0.063. It means that the online social network participation elements of Chiang Rai private school parents are consistent with empirical data.
